Its Dussehra Holidays soon, and it couldn't be a better time to introduce/revisit your kids to the wonderful stories of how this festival is celebrated in different parts of the country. Its the time to celebrate the victory of good over evil.

Take a look at the chapter of Dussehra in Festivals of India to know a little bit more. Festival Stories: Through The Year records Natasha and Nikhil's experiences through their blog and journal entries. Amma Tell Me About Durga Puja is a wonderful story about how Ma Durga outshone even the mighty gods. Combine this with Tales of Durga by Amar Chitra Katha to know all about the history.

For older kids (Age 10+) we recommend Ravana Refuses to Die and Ten Heads for Tanuj where kids can enjoy twists in the plot and amazing illustrations.
